We are proud to announce that our first year of tournaments is over and we have crowned our first Team of the Year! Team Orange Crush, headed by team captain Mike Tripp, earned a total of 467 points and can be seen standing proudly with the enormous 2010 WCFT Team of the Year trophy. Congratulations goes out to him and his other team members throughout the year including Al Millan, Kendra Tripp and Greg Hall.

It was a very close competition throughout the year with team Tail Slappers maintaining a narrow lead for the first two tournaments at Lake Berryessa and Lake Don Pedro. However, Lake Oroville introduced a 36 point gain for team Orange Crush over team Tail Slappers. This catapulted team Orange Crush into the point lead with 248 points to team Tail Slappers' 216 points. Although team Tail Slappers and captain Rene Villanueva managed to come in 1st Place at our last event, Orange Crush came in right behind them earning 219 points to team Tail Slappers' 221 points. The final standings resulted with team Orange Crush earning a 30 point lead over team Tail Slappers and securing the first ever title of WCFT Team of the Year!
